Singing Their Praises!!!

By Christina Litman on Apr 27, 2010 at 12:00 AM in Parenting

How often do I praise or celebrate my children?  I remember the first time I saw my first born for the first time.  My heart opened up so wide I thought it would burst with so much joy.  This happened again when I saw my daughters eyes look up at me when she was placed on my chest to breastfeed for the first time.  Wow!!  Two very amazing lightbeings that have rocked my world since day one!!

This blog is dedicated to the two of them and how grateful I am to be their mother.  I remember counting their time here on earth in days....she's two days old....he's ten days old.... Then counting their time here in months, and now years.  My daughter is nine years old and my son is twelve, and it has been a very full ride indeed!!

Let us re-member the first moment we fell in love with our children and then bring that awe into each day we are with them.  How different our relationships can be when we focus on them with awe, respect and honor for their light force here on earth and how it has changed us from the inside out.

I celebrate their being here as their first success on our planet!! What it takes to be in a body is purely a miracle.  Then I applaud all the challenges they face going through stretching and growing their physical bodies as well as their emotional/spiritual bodies.  It is hard work to grow into an amazing life that has been given.

I believe that as I focus my attention on the intention to add to their lights and help them shine them brightly in the world our relationship grows from good to greater good each day.  This is my prayer for my family.  That we re-member to be grateful for one another and all the effort it takes to be the true light that we are , and to celebrate out loud all the successes and the set backs that life throws our way to grow and develop ourselves into amazing beings.  To hug and kiss them as much as they will allow and to play as much as our time will allow.

Our gift we give to these chldren is to be our best selves and show up for them with delight and joy and celebrate them for being here with us!!  Let's dance and sing and play our planet into peace right now!!

To my Jai and to my Naia; you light up my life!!  You are a blessing to the world!!  I celebrate your being-ness!!  And I honor you both for loving so wholeheartedly even when I am not my best self.  To be loved by you is my miracle!!
